Durante un weekend nella verde Irlanda ho scoperto che la mia coscienza sopita da anni di “annullamento” universitario si stava risvegliando.  Poi c’è  stato l’Erasmus a Vienna, paradiso perduto dell’artista e delle anime Naif. Austria, terra della correttezza dove persino l’università viene pagata dallo stato. Quindi il ritorno a Milano. Patria della corsa al tram, dove tutti sono perennemente in ritardo.

Friulana D.O.C., sono continuamente in viaggio tra Pordenone e Milano, dove abito da sei anni e da due con Giuseppe. Proprio qui, nel mio appartamento all’ottavo piano in zona Affori, vengono disegnati e confezionati gli abitini Duckie-o.

Come Giovanna, anche io ho tanti posti dove ho lasciato frammenti di anima, ricordi di una vita che non ha mai accennato a rallentare, nuove sfide e amici da andare a trovare in giro per il mondo. Ma ora sono qui, a Milano, a seguire questo speciale progetto che unisce la mia volontà di stilista a quella di mamma di Giò, convogliate in un prodotto semplice e buono, che nel suo piccolo vuole fare la differenza.

During a weekend in the green Ireland, I discovered that my consciousness, soothed during the university years, was awaking. Then there was the Erasmus in Vienna, artists and naïve souls paradise. Austria, the correctness land where even university is paid by the state. From there I returned to Milan. Home of the “run to take the tram”, where everyone is perpetually late.
Coming from Friuli region, I’m always traveling between Pordenone and Milan, where I live from seven years, two of those with Giuseppe. Right here, in my apartment at the eighth floor in Affori area, the Duckie-o dresses are designed and sewed.
Like Giovanna, I also have many places where I have left fragments of soul, memories of a life that never mentioned to slow down, new challenges and friends to visit from all around the world. But now I am here, in Milan, to follow this special project that combines my designer will to Giovanna’s motherhood, conveyed in a simple and good product, that in its tiny dimention wants to make a difference.
